Learning about Culture at Burrumbuttock Preschool
In 2016, for our Aboriginal Culture Gala Day, we visited Wirraminna Environmental Education Centre and had some special visitors. We met the kids from Koori Kindermanna Preschool, and Aunty Valda taught us about Wiradjuri culture. Stacee from Wirraminna read us a story and showed us the Corroboree Frogs and Pygmy Perch.
David Dunn, a Wiradjuri artist, visited us at the preschool and showed us how to paint. David painted special totem poles that we have in our garden.
